IIIE-2024: Sets another milestone in Kerala

Encouraging response to the India International Industrial Expo (IIIE 2024) at Kinfra International Exhibition Cum Convention Centre, Kochi indicates the changing industry landscape of Kerala. Around 100 new participants in the exhibition show the increasing curiosity of entrepreneurs about finding a foothold in the state.

Kerala State Small Industries Association (KSSIA) and Metro Mart jointly hosted the India International Industrial Expo (IIIE 2024) with the support of the State government and the Union Ministry of MSME at Kinfra International Exhibition Cum Convention Centre, Kochi. IIE 2024 is a premier platform to showcase the innovations of entrepreneurs and connect with other industry leaders, decision-makers, and influencers. Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala unveiled the IIIE 2024. Minister for Industries, P Rajeev graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

More than 250 companies have exhibited their products. Out of them around 100 companies are the first timers. The venue recorded an unprecedented footprint, bearing testimony to the changing industrial scenario of the State, says KP Ramachandran Nair, Chairman of IIIE-24. He points out that the exhibition has set a milestone in the industrial landscape of Kerala. “The response indicates that the state is gaining a business-friendly image,” he adds. The exhibition has set the future of industrial automation in the state KSSIA, a government-recognised MSME association with more than four lakh small units as its members, says Mr Nizarudeen, President of KSSIA.
