Urban Grameen Society, is expanding its presence to new geographies. Urban Grameen Society (UGS) is now in its fifth year with many laurels of operational success and track records of services. The Society has been gaining people’s trust for its services, as the fast expansion of its base indicates. “We have been adding precious moments to the lives of ordinary people in the past four years through simple and transparent transactions,” says Ajith Palatt, Managing Director, UGS Group. UGS is expanding its operations to other states as a major milestone in its fifth year of successful operation. The Group’s new venture named, Pyramid Agro Multi-State Cooperative Society Limited is licensed to operate in Karnataka and Maharashtra in addition to Kerala. J. Chinjurani, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister, Kerala State, will inaugurate the registered office of the group’s new outfit at Pallipadi, Kasamiya, Mannarkkad, Malappuram district in Kerala on December 17, 2024. Dignitaries to be present at the function include eminent politicians, business leaders, and personalities from socio-cultural fields. The list of guests includes local MLA, M Shamsuddin, C Muhammed Bashir, V Preetha, and Basheer Thekkan. The Mannarkkad branch is the 17th in the Group’s business operation network.
