Damn public health to serve vaccine makers’ interests?

Vaccine takers do not know they are inoculated with an inactive virus to make their body develop antibodies. That is a speculative hope. No anti-Covid-19 vaccine has been tested for ascertaining any possible long term circulatory health complications. The hurriedly developed anti-Corona-19 vaccine cannot assure long term safety. It can only create more business for the makers, perhaps with recommendations for more jabs and other preventive cares. The ploy only assures them potential future business. Drug multinationals have a history of selling toxic drugs to the third world with two intentions, creating more patients for their future business and ascertaining data from the trials on people who enjoy a free supply of medicines. Don't forget the Cutter's polio vaccine disaster. On 27th N...

Worm infection: The government measures

Albendazole tablet, approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), is used for the treatment of intestinal worms in children and adolescents as part of Mass Drug Administration (MDA) programmes globally. Soil-Transmitted Helminthiases (STH), also known as parasitic intestinal worm infection, is a significant public health concern mostly in low resource settings. These are known to have detrimental effects on children’s physical growth and well being and can cause anaemia and under-nutrition. Regular deworming as advised by the World Health Organization eliminates worm infestation among children and adolescents living in areas with high STH burden, thereby contributing to achieving better nutrition and health, says the union Ministry of Healthcare in a Press Release.
